Ed Sheeran stopped by the studio today to chat about his new song, "SING" and his upcoming album "X." He even did a kick-ass acoustic cover of  Beyonce’s "Drunk in Love" for us!

His new single "SING," which is currently 7th on the iTunes charts, is a hit! Pharrell produces the track and we LOVE it. Apparently it took Pharrell three hours to convince Ed to do the song. Ed even admitted that he used Justin Timberlake’s “Justified” and “Future Sex Love Sounds” album as inspiration when recording.

"X" is set to hit shelves June 23rd. Don’t be mistaken it’s not the letter-x, it is “multiply.” In just a year, Ed wrote over 120 songs and finally narrowed it down to 16 for his second album. One song to look out for? The track “Don’t” which is allegedly about “Burn” singer Ellie Goulding cheating on him. We can’t wait to hear it.

Ed’s European tour starts in November, but be sure to catch him this weekend April 12th on NBC's Saturday Night Live with Seth Rogen hosting. We can't get enough of Ed!
