There's more news coming to light regarding the suspected drunk driver who police say plowed into a crowd early Thursday morning at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas, killing two people and injuring 23 others.

The suspect, identified as Rashad Charjuan Owens, was in town to perform during the fest at an East Austin club before police say he drove through barricades and plowed into a crowd of South by Southwest attendees.

Austin police say the 21-year-old will be charged with two counts of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault.

His brother, Lamar Wilson, told the American Statesman that he borrowed a car from a friend named Andrew Barmwell, but a spokesman for Fort Hood, where Barmwell is stationed, said that the soldier reported his car stolen on Thursday morning.
