We knew that a new Gorillaz album was in the works but it was a surprise to have a new video drop today.

"Hallelujah Money," is the first new music from the band in six years and also features 2015 Mercury Prize winner Benjamin Clementine.

The group's leader, "Murdoc," says, "In these dark times, we all need someone to look up to. Me. That's why I'm giving you this new Gorillaz song, a lightning bolt of truth in a black night. You're welcome. Now [move] on! The new album's not gonna write itself."

The Gorillaz' as-yet-untitled album is due out this year.
