Singer Dan Smith tells Billboard he sees their new album, Wild World, as very much tied to current events, and that will be reflected in their live gigs. He says, "I think the show that we put together is kind of loosely commenting on news and news media, and how we see the world and politics, but hopefully in a visually beautiful way. It’s important to us to not be too heavy-handed -- it’s music, and we’re just four idiots that make songs. We wanted to put together a tour that felt thought-provoking, relevant and a tour very much of and about 2016-2017."
