Arctic Monkeys To Perform First Show In Three Years

Arctic Monkeys are returning! The Sheffield band have announced their return to the stage and confirmed that their first performance in three years will go down at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware in June. After years of anticipation, the group is expected to announce more tour dates shortly.

The band is also working on a follow-up album to 2013's AM, which is set to be released this year. Bassist Nick O’Malley revealed the news during an interview with motorcycle magazine For the Ride, saying that “If it isn’t [out by 2018], we’ve got problems.”

Speculation that the group would be returning started to circulate after frontman Alex Turner was photographed with the rest of the band in December 2016.

Arctic Monkeys will headline Firefly Music Festival alongside Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and The Killers. The festival is filled with some other great talent, including SZA, Logic, Lil Wayne, MGMT, Odesza, Alt-J, Foster The People, Chromeo, Portugal. The Man, Martin Garrix, Royal Blood, Vance Joy, Jimmy Eat World, Warren G, Trippie Redd, and more.

Check out the full lineup. Passes for Firefly Music Festival go on sale January 12th at 10:00 AM ET.
