D'Arcy Wretzky wrecks Billy Corgan!

In her first interview in almost 20 year, D'Arcy Wretzky doesn't hold back on what she thinks about Billy Corgan and the ill-fated Smashing Pumpkins reunion.

Wretzky spoke with Alternative Nation and admits that she had a good attitude when she and Corgan started talking again in 2016. She explained, “Everyone said he changed since he had a kid, and he can be very charming, and fun." But Wretzky added, “I wasn’t aware of a lot of the crazy stuff, like he supports Trump. What? The shape-shifting thing, I honestly think he may have a brain tumor. He’s always been insufferable."

She believed that Corgan wanted a reunion for the most basic reason of all -- cash. She said, "We almost immediately started talking about a reunion, because he said to me: ‘Well, maybe you know, and maybe you don’t, but with this wrestling thing I kind of got myself into a bit of a hole.'"

Wretzky also claimed that Corgan hired Jack Bates, Peter Hook’s son and the bassist who played with the band on their last tour, without telling her. She said, "I forced him to fire me, I didn’t want James [Iha] to fire me, I didn’t want the situation of they had hired Melissa [auf der Maur] already just in case. They hired Jack Bates for this tour. I made Billy spell it out, because he was doing his nonsense double talk crap. Everyone was telling me, 'Well that doesn’t sound like he doesn’t want you on the tour.' Nobody could see it, so I finally made him spell it out for me."

Wreztky also talks about her drug issues and what she's been doing the past 19 years in the interview. Read the full thing at Alternative Nation. Corgan and the Pumpkins are set to announce something on Thursday, according to the countdown on the band's website.
