KASPAR RETURNS!

Not many would hit the paying customers with hip checks at a fantasy hockey camp. But if there’s an exception to that rule, it was always going to be this man.

It was great to see Darius Kasparaitis at the Mario Lemieux Foundation Fantasy Hockey Camp. He tormented Mario in ’93, scored on Hasek in ’01, represented his native Lithuania in international play at age 45 in ’18, and had a goal and two assists in the Lemieux camp’s championship game Saturday. Kasparaitis is truly one of a kind.

Kasparaitis did level a few campers over the weekend, but did so in non-violent, almost gentle fashion.

Those sent sprawling loved it. They got the full Kasparaitis experience.
