Foo Fighters Announce Livestream Concert This Saturday From Roxy Theatre

The Foo Fighters are following their successful Saturday Night Live set this past weekend in New York with a live virtual concert this coming weekend in Los Angeles.

The band is set to take over the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday, November 14, at 8 p.m.

Tickets to the live stream are $15. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Sweet Relief, which is providing financial assistance to musicians and music-industry workers who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

You can buy virtual admission to the Roxy Theatre show here.

The livestream announcement comes after the band debuted the new single, "Shame Shame," on SNL, from the Foos forthcoming album, Medicine At Midnight, which is due out in early-2021.

Frontman Dave Grohl has described the new album as showcasing a more danceable version of his band, inspired by bands like The Cars or albums like David Bowie's Let's Dance or The Rolling Stones' Tattoo You.

While he acknowledged that "Shame Shame" doesn't quite embody the feel of the rest of the new album, Grohl added that the band gravitated towards the song as a lead single because of its unique feel in respect to the music on the band's previous nine studio albums.
