Sidney Crosby Undergoes Successful Arthroscopic Wrist Surgery


Announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford, Pittsburgh Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby underwent successful arthroscopic wrist debridement surgery yesterday Monday, August 31.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Robert Hotchkiss of Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, in collaboration with team physician Dr. Dharmesh Vyas and UPMC hand and upper extremity surgery.

His recovery time is expected to be 3-4 weeks.
