First and foremost, no, they're not from Arizona. A R I Z O N A is comprised of three Jersey boys who met in college -- Zach, Nate, and David. They've all established themselves as songwriters and producers but wanted to make music without restrictions or to play by the rules of others, so they formed their own alternative/indie group.
They rolled through Lawrenceville last spring, which happened to be their first headlining gig EVER. So that was cool for all 100 of us fans in the teeny tiny basement of Cattivo. They played their debut album, Gallery, for the first time front to back. It released two weeks later.
Later in the summer they went on to play festivals such as Governors Ball, Firefly, Lollapalooza, and Hangout, all the while gaining momentum and collaborating with more artists of varying genres, such as Kiiara, Don Diablo, and Ed Sheeran.
Now, they're opening for Panic! at the Disco on their Pray For the Wicked Tour, which will circle back to Pittsburgh July 18 at PPG Paints Arena.Highly recommend you check out A R I Z O N A -- then you can join me waiting with bated breath for record no.2.
