But he also lost, as the expansion Golden Knights increased their dumbfounding first-year record to 17-9-1 with a 4-3 shootout victory over the Ducks.

It wasn’t Gibson's fault. He made 40 saves. His save percentage is .921, tenth-best among the NHL’s starting goaltenders.
