I have seen many Led Zeppelin tribute bands:
*Get The Led Out
*Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening (nee Experience)
*Led Zeppelin 2
*Physical Graffiti (over 20 years ago, at Graffiti on Baum Blvd.)
*The Moby Dicks
They’re all good. GTLO and JBLZE (no costumes) reproduce the music most exactly. Zoso replicates the look and live experience very well. The Moby Dicks (LA and Vegas-based) have an ever-changing roster, but powerhouse drummer Brian Tichy (Dead Daisies, ex-Foreigner and Whitesnake) provides a stunning backbone.
An intriguing figure in the midst of all this is Jimmy Sakurai.
The guitarist has played with JBLZE and Led ZepAgain besides leading his own “revival” (Sakurai’s word). Sakurai plays impeccably, dresses exactly like Jimmy Page, mimics the Zep guitarist's mannerisms and closely resembles Page despite being Japanese.
Mr. Jimmy is amazing. Check out his work:
