Motley Crue broke up and immediately got back to work

On September 13th, Vince Neil tweeted the news that Motley Crue would record four new songs in a few weeks. On Friday, a Nikki Sixx tweet revealed that those tracks have been laid down, are being mixed and, according to Nikki, "crush."

Beginning his post with an F-bomb with an umlaut over the "u," Sixx adds that the rough mixes he's hearing feel "real and raw" and that producer Bob Rock "brought the sounds." As for the band itself, Sixx says, "Everyone is playing like mad." He also claims that they "have a surprise that will confirm that we're out of our minds."

Speculation is that these tracks will be used in connection with the Netflix movie of the band's book The Dirt.
