Maher is lucky Madusa didn’t kick the crap out of him. (She could have. Easily.)
Roddy passed away in 2015. He is extremely missed.
Roddy’s point about “fake” is well-taken. That word is insulting to the pro wrestling business.
Scripted? Pre-determined? Worked? Those terms can’t be denied.
But the toll that pro wrestling takes on a performer’s body is also undeniable. So is the athleticism. A price is paid that is anything but fake.
Pro wrestling isn’t fake. It never has been. Roddy Piper wasn’t fake, either.
