Eddie Vedder took part in an online fundraiser for Pittsburgh’s Clemente Museum, which celebrates the legacy of Pirates great Roberto Clemente, who died in a 1972 plane crash while airlifting supplies to earthquake-ravaged Nicaragua. Vedder spoke about how he often wears a T-shirt bearing Clemente’s number at shows and performed a snippet of Pearl Jam’s “Love Boat Captain” to close the half-hour event.
