Fans of old-time hockey wet their pants as one Sunday when Sidney Crosby laid an old-school hip check on Buffalo’s Rasmus Ristolainen.
It was absolutely textbook. The late Bob Plager would be proud. The hip check is a dying art.
Ristolainen popped Crosby in the head during a Penguins-Sabres game last month. Was this delayed retaliation?
If so, I respect Crosby for doing it. But I’m mega-pissed that nobody else did.
