Slash did something at his tour opener with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators Tuesday night that Guns n' Roses have never done -- cover a full Elton John song.
During their encore in Portland, Oregon they covered "Rocket Man." Slash told the crowd that they recorded a cover of it a few years ago for the movie Stunt Man, featuring his friend Eddie Braun, which was finally released in 2021. He added that "We’re going to do it live tonight since we’ve been dying to play it."
