Ever since his days with the Misfits, Glenn Danzig has had a flare for the theatrical but his metal fest may take the cake.
The Blackest of the Black Festival will take place May 26-27 in Silverado, CA and features a pretty solid line up including Danzig, Ministry, Suicidal Tendencies, Corrosion of Conformity, Suicide Silence, Belphegor, Devildriver, Ghoul and more.
While this may all seem standard issue, things get weird with the inclusion of, Castle Danzig. Billed as a "fully interactive festival experience in tourture, pain and metal" featuring suspension artists, an altar of virgin sacrifice (sacrifices happening every hour on the hour), a bondage stage, padded cell, electroshock stage, a blood bath and all kinds of other weird AF experiences for festival goers.
