Two things you don't typically associate with each other are Slayer and the zoo. Unless the zoo is Ukrainian then all bets are off.
Over the weekend, XII Months Zoo in Kiev unveiled their tribute to Slayer frontman Tom Araya. The statue, pictured below, includes the classic Slayer logo and a lyrical passage from "Dead Skin Mask".
I'm not sure what Slayer, Tom Araya or Ed Gein for that matter have to do with a trip to the zoo and since I can't read Russian and haven't found a translation of the zoo's Facebook post about the statue we may never know.
