The NHL 2012/2013 Lockout Ended With Pens Playing Flyers 10 Years Ago

On this day, 10 years ago, Penguins hockey returned after the NHL lockout of 2012/13.

They played the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center.

The Pens started the 48-game season with a win over the Flyers that pushed Fleury past Barrasso to become the Pens all-time winning goalie. TK, James Neal and Kunitz all scored goals that night, beating the Flyers 3-1.

Sweet.
