Netflix and Adam Sandler have confirmed production of a "Happy Gilmore" sequel.
But who's left to be in it? Much of the cast has died since the original was released in 1996. Here's a list of the deceased:
*Carl Weathers (Chubbs Peterson)
*Bob Barker
*Joe Flaherty (Donald)
*Frances Bay (Grandma Gilmore)
*Richard Kiel (Mr. Larson)
Mr. Larson's death was unrelated to the nail in his head.
Sandler has mentioned involving Drew Carey, Barker's successor as "The Price is Right" host. That would be a nice touch.
I'm looking forward to "Happy Gilmore 2," or whatever it's called. But that was the perfect comedy and sequels are tough.
