Billie Eilish is guaranteeing one thing for fans attending her upcoming Hit Me Hard and Soft tour: They won't have to sit through her performing for three hours straight.
The "Happier Than Ever" singer made the revelation during a chat with fans on the Stationhead app, saying that she would never play a "literally psychotic" three-hour-long concert, something that artists like Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Eric Church have become known for, per People.
"I'm not doing a three-hour show, that's literally psychotic," she said, adding that she wouldn't even want to sit through that as a fan. "Nobody wants that. You guys don't want that. I don't want that. I don't even want that as a fan. My favorite artist in the world, I'm not trying to hear them for three hours. That's far too long."
This isn't the first time Eilish, who is preparing to hit the road this fall for her tour named for her latest album, has spoken out about going against what other artists in the industry have been doing. Earlier this year, she hit back at "some of the biggest artists in the world" for releasing multiple vinyl variants of albums to boost album sales, calling it "irritating" and "so wasteful."
Her comments caught the attention of fans of Swift, who criticized the "Lunch" singer for her views; however, Eilish clapped back at the haters, pointing out that she didn't single out any specific artist and even said that she counts herself among those who have participated in the practice.
