Great show at Blossom Music Center outside Cleveland on Monday night: Loverboy killed it. Then Sammy Hagar was joined by guitarist Joe Satriani, bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and utilityman Rai Thistlethwayte to provide a close approximation of Van Halen without any Van Halens.
Leaving the kid at home = good decision. His time in a Van Halen tribute band will come soon enough.
Satriani = virtuoso. Absolutely stunning tone and precision.
