THE STEELERS DON'T KNOW BETTER

Before last year's NFL draft, the conventional wisdom regarding University of Washington offensive lineman Troy Fautanu was that he's an injury risk.

The Steelers drafted Fautanu in the first round.

Fautanu played 55 snaps in the Steelers' Week 2 game at Denver, then missed the rest of the season with a dislocated kneecap.

Before the 2022 NFL draft, the conventional wisdom regarding University of Georgia wideout George Pickens was that he's got behavioral issues.

The Steelers drafted Pickens in the second round.

Pickens is a total ass, a constant distraction, pulled too many shenanigans to list here and just got traded to Dallas.

Before the 2022 NFL draft, the conventional wisdom regarding University of Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett was that he's not a first-round talent.

The Steelers drafted Pickett in the first round.

Pickett's rookie contract hasn't yet expired, and he's already on his third team. Missing on Pickett set the Steelers back years.

The Steelers think that every other team is wrong and they're right. That they know better.

They don't.
