Gigi Perez Makes 2026 ALTer EGO A Family Affair In Duet With Sister Bella

Gigi Perez's performance at the 2026 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO presented by Capital One was one for the books.

The 25-year-old musician made her mark at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 17), not only joining Mt. Joy to perform their song "In The Middle" but standing on her own merit with a set full of powerhouse vocals and mesmerizing stage presence.

Perez begged "Please Be Rude" while singing about a longing love before rocking out with "Chemistry," jamming with her guitarist and bassist as the crowd cheered along. She then brought out her "little sister" Bella Perez to for a duet of "Sugar Water," Bella adding beautiful harmonies to her sister's melody before Gigi wrapped up her set with her breakout hit "Sailor Song."

While backstage before her performance, Perez reflected on how her career has evolved from recording her debut album At the Beach in her room to now performing her music all over.

Gigi Perez is one of several alternative artists and rock groups nominated to take home a trophy at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 26, earning a nod for Best New Artist (Alternative). See the full list of nominees here.

In addition to Perez, the 2026 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO including show-stopping performances from Green Day, Twenty One Pilots, Cage the Elephant, Sublime, Mt. Joy, Almost Monday and Good Charlotte, who took the stage in L.A. for the first time in a decade.
