BRADSHAW AND BEN SHOULD GET STATUES

When I was at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland for the Brazil vs. Egypt soccer friendly this past Saturday, I saw the Otto Graham statue outside the stadium.

Graham was the Browns' quarterback from 1946-55. He won seven championships and five MVPs.

So, of course he got a statue.

Why aren't there statues of Terry Bradshaw and Ben Roethlisberger outside Acrisure Stadium?

There's a statue of Art Rooney Sr., the team's founder.

Also a monument commemorating the Immaculate Reception.

Rooney never played a down.

The Immaculate Reception was a fluke. Pure luck. Perhaps illegal. Maybe trapped. The Steelers were eliminated the next week.

Without Bradshaw and Roethlisberger, the Steelers would have won one Super Bowl. Maybe none.

It's about the quarterbacks.

Acknowledge them.

Bradshaw first. Then Roethlisberger.

Melt the bronze and start erecting.

How bad is it when the Browns get it right and the Steelers get it wrong?
