Bassist D’arcy Wretzky didn’t really love this song, and would call it “that real slow one,” with a bit of disdain, but Billy Corgan loved the new dynamic it introduced for the band. (Maybe it’s why it’s one of the tunes they still perform consistently). D’arcy DOES look pretty bored in the video but that was on purpose. Originally the band members were supposed to be in a tiny room and really on top of each other, but the crew must have lost their production notes that day and instead put the band in a gigantic purple room. The Pumpkins rolled with the change and improvised, getting as far away from each other as possible. The live footage in this video is from a small club show and the shots of the band just walking around is footage they filmed themselves in London. Enjoy seeing Billy Corgan with hair.
