I never wanted to frame my face with chunky blonde streaks so fast then when I saw Lucious Jackson’s Jill Cunniff for the first time. Plus drummer Kate Schellenbach was an original Beastie Boy, what’s not to love here?
The video always gave me a spy-thriller vibe and was inspired by a Luis Buniel movie. In the film, That Obscure Object of Desire, two actresses play the same role. In this video, shot at the World Trade Center, every member of the band essentially plays the same role of a woman being escorted to a departing plane by her boyfriend played by Max Perlich.
