Yes, if you've been paying attention, we've featured 311 before---however. It's 311 Day. It'd be silly not to give them love and a girl knows not to upset the hive.
So...chill.
For fans of 311, this song was literally written for you, i.e., those “down” with 311, future members of the hive, followers and disciplines of the ageless Nick Hexum.
If the video of the song gives you twisted funhouse vibes, you might recognize the handy work of the director, Josh Taft, since he also did the Stone Temple Pilots videos for “Plush” and “Sex Type Thing, which used a similar visual effect.
This was off of 311’s third album and they knew they were on the cusp of getting big, so kudos to them for making a song about the fans who got them there. (By the way they were right, this was their first #1).
