Our second Irish band to be featured this week, U2 gets the honor today with the video for “Mysterious Ways,” which boy I hope you don’t have vertigo or are prone to motion sickness.
From 1991’s Achtung Baby, this mega hit was built off of Adam Clayton’s bassline but reached it’s full potential with the addition of The Edge’s Korg A3. The belly dancer featured in the video is named Morleigh Steinberg, an American choreographer who originally worked with the band on the “With or Without You,” video and eventually became U2's choreographer for the Zoo TV Tour. During that tour, Morleigh and The Edge began a relationship, eventually married, and have two children together. They’re still married today.
