Here’s your 90’s Video of the Day: Spin Doctors - Two Princes

Because we love ‘em all. Here’s your 90’s Video of the Day:

Spin Doctors - Two Princes

It’s Friday so may you feel as free as Brian Posehn enjoying the one song that’s actually on his iPod, with Spin Doctors “Two Princes.” At a time when grunge was king, Spin Doctors were the alternative hippies that represented the joy and free spirit of the jam band circuit. And boy was this song everywhere—-I can’t say there are many 90’s videos that we’ve featured that got an in-earnest, artist-endorsed Sesame Street version, but here we are.

There are two different videos for “Two Princes." One is in color and mostly a live video with clips of lead singer Christopher Barren walking around in royal garb. We’re featuring the black and white version which was a scripted video of our protagonist and her choice of princes.

The joyful song was a polarizing phenomenon that is endearing as it can be annoying but it’s got a heart of gold.
