I can't believe I've never had a chance to interview Amy Lee of Evanescence until today, but boy did we make up for lost time. I know that many of you are already quite in love with her and think it can't get any better, but she's so wonderfully insightful, friendly, and even went on a trip down memory lane with me as we geeked over our Rainbow Brite collections. (I'm so glad I'm not the only one).
Evanescence did something really special with the newest record "The Bitter Truth." It's got a ton of power, depth, and so much heart that went into finishing a record in the middle of a pandemic. We cover everything from surviving the last year, quarantining with kids, and feeling good to create again. Enjoy!
