Korn have asked bassist Fieldy to sit out their upcoming summer tour so that he can work upon dealing with some unspecified “bad habits.” The 51-year-old bassist, aka Reggie Arvizu, broke the news to fans in a social media post.
Fieldy implies that the band and/or management asked him to take the break and says he's "going to respect what was asked" of him and "take that time." He adds that he'll "be working towards getting the bad habits out of [his] system" and "will be staying creative to keep [his] mind & soul in a good place."
He ends by expressing his love for his bandmates and says he doesn't "want to bring any tension or bad vibes to the circle."
Unfortunately, this will not be the first time the band’s founding bassist has had to take a step back and miss a tour. Back in 2017, Tye Trujillo, (yes son of Robert Trujillo of Metallica) filled in for their South American dates due to "unforeseen circumstances."
Korn will be touring with Staind which is in Pittsburgh September 3rd at the Pavilion at Starlake.
