The wrong way:
The right way:
James Rutherford, the 10-year-old son of Penguins GM Jim, was at odds with assistant general manager Bill Guerin at the NHL draft over the availability of sandwiches.
But when your favorite Super Genius said, on air, that I’d like a salami and cheese sandwich, James came through. He delivered right to my studio. (All James needed was a bit more notice. Order ahead next time, Bill.)
Big thanks to James, who may be my program’s No. 1 fan. He’s a super kid. (And a goalie, just like dad.) Thanks also to Mediterra café and bakery in Sewickley for making the sandwiches, which are not only available there but named after me.
I got a sandwich, a burger, wings, pizza and beer named after me. What next?
