Penguins captain Sidney Crosby delivered a family’s season tickets, played street hockey in the driveway, and then wrote a note excusing the family’s kids from school. That’s typical Sid. All warmth and class.
But I’d never noticed something about Sid’s autograph: The “S” is an 8, and the last “y” is a 7. His signature is bookended with an 87.
How long has Sid been doing that? Since he was about 11, I’d wager.
How could they not excuse this? pic.twitter.com/VO5eTbmk0G— Pittsburgh Penguins (@penguins) September 10, 2018
Season ticket holder Greg Hartlep on Sidney Crosby delivering his tickets: "For me, his personality is just as advertised. I was excited for the kids. I felt just like a kid myself."— Pittsburgh Penguins (@penguins) September 11, 2018
