This is the most egregious traveling violation ever. LeBron James (for it is he) isn’t driving to the hoop. He’s merely bringing the ball up court. He stops dribbling, walks a couple steps with the ball, and resumes dribbling. No call.
Utah defender Bojan Bogdanovic goes apoplectic, but not apoplectic enough. If I’m Bogdanovic, I get T’d up. Because if you’re not going to call that, what’s the point of having that rule, or referees? It’s beyond silly.
Said James,“I think I was ready to pass the ball, and my brain just kind of just…I had a malfunction. I really had a malfunction. It was the worst thing, probably one of the worst things I've ever done in my career."
