The best TV being done in America may be insurance commercials – not least Geico’s “sequels” that feature the woodchucks, raccoons and Pinocchio.
When Pinocchio’s nose breaks his car window, or knocks the glasses off the tray, it is hilarious.
A blind date goes horribly wrong? Pinocchio, you’re a real boy now.
The punchline for the woodchucks never changes. The raccoon spots ring similar. So, I give the edge to Pinocchio.
It won’t happen, but I’d like to see some cross-promotion: Like Progressive’s Flo getting brained by a two-by-four.
