If you require proof beyond ESPN’s documentary that Michael Jordan leads the league in petty (Tom Petty), watch his Basketball Hall of Fame induction speech from 2009.
Jordan blasts everyone who slighted or doubted him. If Jordan beat you, he rubs it in your face. What should be a celebration of the greatest basketball player ever turns into an embarrassing indulgence of revenge. It’s awkward and uncomfortable.
It’s also incredibly long. If you want a tease, watch the shorter video, where he blasts Chicago GM Jerry Krause, who wasn’t in attendance. Not that Krause’s presence would have stopped Jordan. We know that from watching “The Last Dance.”
