“Dazed and Confused” is usually a marathon. Sometimes it’s a sprint. It’s also a movie about teen life in the ‘70s. “Randy Floyd, before next fall you’re in need of a serious attitude adjustment! You better get your priorities straight, and watch out with that other crowd you’re running with! Don’t think I haven’t noticed!”
“Dazed and Confused” remains my favorite Led Zeppelin song. It should be played in place of the national anthem before NFL games.
Included among the videos below is one clip that’s strictly audio: The longest known version of “Dazed and Confused” – 45 minutes and 17 seconds at the Los Angeles Forum in 1975. I’d have had to get high twice, maybe three times.
