Plum native and ex-NFL All-Pro punter Pat McAfee returned to NXT last night, helping two guys I’ve barely heard of win the promotion’s tag-team championship. Pat was involved in other shenanigans prior to what’s shown below, anonymously ambushing his old nemeses The Undisputed Era to shoehorn protégés Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch into the title match.
Pat was a great punter, but was born for wrestling. His promos and timing are better than just about everyone in the profession. What a great reveal after the title switch.
Pat has already eclipsed my meager wrestling career. I’m insanely jealous.
Is Pat going to again square off with Adam Cole? That probability seems undisputed. (Pat mocking The Undisputed Era’s catchphrase and gang signs = a microcosm of why Pat is great.)
But I hate it when mom and dad fight.
