Liverpool FC aren’t all the way back.
But it doesn’t look like they’re going away, either.
LFC ran away with the Premier League championship last season, going 32-3-3.
But, heading into last Thursday’s game at Tottenham, they were winless in their last five PL games (drawing three, losing two) and had a disappointing record of nine wins, seven ties and three losses. They had dropped eight more points this season than all of last season.
But then they beat Tottenham 3-1 and followed that up with a 3-1 victory at West Ham yesterday (highlights of both below).
That puts LFC third in the Premier League, four points behind first-place Manchester City and one point in back of second-place Manchester United. They have 17 games remaining.
Repeating won’t be easy. But at least it’s not impossible. (Getting a quality center-half before today’s transfer window deadline at 6 p.m. would make it more possible. Fingers crossed.)

There are quite a few of those. I never get tired of watching them.
