The Pittsburgh sports scene is in a funk. It’s been mostly crap since the Penguins won the Stanley Cup in 2017.
The Steelers have won three playoff games in 10 years, none since after the 2016 season.
The Penguins have lost four straight playoff series.
The Pirates flat-out stink and embarrass themselves more games than not.
Pitt football has had one winning season in its last four.
Pitt men’s basketball hasn’t made the NCAA tournament since 2016.
In Pittsburgh, there are currently two shining lights when it comes to sports.
One is obviously me.
The other won the AEW women’s world championship Sunday night on PPV.
