13 STRAIGHT LOSSES

Earlier this season, the Philadelphia Flyers lost 10 straight games. The meatheads who support the Flyers probably thought things couldn’t get any worse.

They were wrong.

The Flyers lost 4-3 last night to the host New York Islanders, pushing their current losing streak to 13.

To paraphrase Red Forman on “That ‘70s Show,” it’s more glorious than D-Day.

The Flyers are 13-22-8. (That’s 13 wins and 30 losses.) They sit dead last in the Metropolitan Division and are 16 points out of a playoff spot.

Here is my gift to you: 13 games worth of hockey porn, the highlights from each of the Flyers’ 13 straight defeats.

I’m hoping for a sequel, and preferably several.

The only thing better than the Flyers losing 13 consecutive games is them losing 14 consecutive games.

The Flyers host Los Angeles on Saturday. Until then, join me as I wallow in their despair. They are an absolute bucket of excrement, and I’m here for it.

Have you ever seen the Flyers win the Cup?
