WHO'S NEXT TO HAVE HIS NUMBER RETIRED?

The Steelers have retired two numbers: Ernie Stautner’s No. 70 and Joe Greene’s No. 75. As announced Tuesday, the Steelers will retire Franco Harris’ No. 32 at halftime of the Steelers home game vs. Las Vegas on Dec. 24. 

Stautner’s number got retired in 1964, Greene’s in 2014. 

If retiring Harris’ digits opens the floodgates, these players should have their numbers retired: 

• *erry Bradshaw
• Mel Blount 
• Jack Ham 
• Jack Lambert 
• Troy Polamalu 
• Ben Roethlisberger 
• Mike Webster 
• Rod Woodson 

Bradshaw’s No. 12 should be next. 

A lot of good players figure to be left out, including: 

• Jerome Bettis
• Dermontti Dawson
• Alan Faneca
• Kevin Greene
• Lynn Swann
• John Stallworth
• Hines Ward
