The great goalie fight is now 10 years past. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Brent Johnson of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Rick DiPietro of the New York Islanders, at Consol Energy Center. Johnson put him down quickly.
Then, Friday, February 11th, 2011 was the absolute BRAWL between the Pens & Islanders. Brent Johnson came out of the net again to face Haley. A memorable game, but not in a good way. And Mario Lemiuex wrote that scathing statement in response to it all.
