Smashing Pumpkins are hosting a 'CYR Cover Contest! Got a favorite track off the new album, CYR? Do a cover of it, and you could win cool prizes.
The Smashing Pumpkins and @sumerianrecords invite fans to perform any song off the album CYR by singing, playing guitar, violin, piano, accordion, theremin, etc.
How to enter: Post your cover video on YouTube, use the hashtag #CYRcontest in your video description, and submit link via cyrcontest.com (link in bio). You have until February 11 to submit your video. Finalists will be selected on February 12 and fan voting will begin to determine 1 grand prize winner + 3 runner ups.
The winning video will be posted on The Smashing Pumpkins and Sumerian Youtube channels and the winner will receive a $100 merch store gift card, (1) CYR 180g Black Ice vinyl and (1) Album poster.
The 3 runner ups will receive a $50 merch store gift card, (1) CYR 180g Black Ice vinyl, and (1) album poster.
