With the killer singles, the mixing done by Chris Lord-Alge, and not a wasted track on it - Rise Against's The Sufferer and the Witness album turned 15 years old today.
It came out July 4th, 2006. Tim McIlrath notes that the release of the album on Independence Day was simply coincidental, as it was originally set to be released that prior June.
I recall getting my hands on it after hearing "Prayer of the Refugee," which is still one of my favorite tracks from them. I wore that CD out. Yes, a CD, isn't that sweet.
Other singles include "Ready to Fall" and "The Good Left Undone." It's great top to bottom, should you choose to take a listen today!
